Geraldton-Greenough is the capital of Western Australia 's Mid West and gateway to the magnificent Abrolhos Islands.


Located about 450km north of the Capital, Perth, the city is perched near beautiful coastline to the west and rolling hills and breakaway ranges to the east. With a population of about 27, 420, it is the fourth-largest city in Western Australia.


Geraldton attracts many tourists with its numerous attractions such as the HMAS Sydney Memorial, the St Francis Xavier Cathedral or the Geraldton Museum in order to find out about the history of the city. The city’s incredible location lends itself to a host of holiday activities, especially water sports. The temperatures range from an average maximum of 30°C (86 °F) in February and an average minimum of 11 °C (52 °F) in July&August.
